Rajasthan is rapidly emerging as one of the top tourism investment destinations, with more than 1,600 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) valued at ₹1.37 lakh crore having been signed by the state. To faster track project implementation and spur infrastructure, employment, and the tourism economy at large, the government is working hard. There are 213 projects valued at 28,200 crore in the ground-breaking stage, and 29 MoU-supported projects are already operational and creating 13,500+ jobs. Destination weddings, international events and film shoots have become very popular and this has contributed to the increased tourism in the state.
